I had taken this course in the Fall semester of 1999. The instructor was Dr. James Keller at Computational Intelligence Lab . There were six projects in this course, which were developed to make the students get the knowledge of image filtering, spatial & frequential domain of image, histogram techniques, segmentation and image clustering information as well as some software package like Khoros. What I learned in this course has helped me a lot in my master thesis research.Here I selected one project I had done, which involved the techniques of Otsu method of image segmentation, filtering the image to clean/fill it, a statistic approach for texture representation using my own idea, etc. Here is the report: html format and MS word format.
